Mostly Money - Post #4

Here is our year end financial statement.

We currently have $265.44 in our bank account.

Now, I know that some of you are not impressed with that amount.  But for me, that amount is a miracle.  Because here is what it represents.  Four individuals that I have never met decided on their own to donate to a cause that they believed in.  Two of these are a one time donation.  One is ongoing on a monthly basis, and one is a year long subscription on Substack.

This money sits in a bank account that was created for this work.  It is attached to a Canadian registered not-for-profit organization created for this work. I have the names and contact information of each of the four.  Let me add another layer to this.  If any of these individuals change their mind and want their money back, I’ll send it back. No questions asked.  Go ahead, look for a better guarantee than that!  Oh, and not one cent, peso, pound, or euro will ever go to me.  Not now, not ever.  Because I am financially independent.  Not rich, not poor.  I have enough. Lucky me!

Now, is money critical for this to work?  Nope.

Would the work be facilitated if we had funds to draw from?  Absolutely!

Let’s talk about this work.  What it could be.

It could be the most powerful global network of information sharing, of cooperation, of non-compliance that has ever been created.  It could be a permanent network of people from every corner of the world who share information on an ongoing basis that is vital to our survival at this critical time in human history.  It could be the end of separation, of isolation.  It could be our species coming together to build a new narrative for our beautiful planet.

Or it could be me going door to door alone with my bag of pamphlets.

Either way it will happen.

If we had more funding, we would build a website that would reflect our progress.  Every individual, every country would see a visual representation of a work in progress.  If we had funding, we could support our poorer brothers and sisters who have been betrayed by empty promises for centuries.  If we had funding, we would have choices.  If we had choices, we could all decide how to best use our resources.

Here’s a possible website name.

www.theworldresponds.com

We own that one.

We have the space.  We just need the structure.

_______________

We are in the last stages of writing the pamphlet.  Will share soon.

Thanks for being out there.

I see you.
